Like with all of its families, Airbus has designed and manufactured several variants of the A321-100 . The first variant was the A321. Also known as the stretched A320, it lives up to its namesake by featuring a longer design than the original A320. The A321’s fuselage is nearly 23 feet longer than the original A320’s fuselage, thus allowing it to accommodate more passengers. #commercialpilottraining #pilotinmaking #airlinepilottraining #indianaviation #howtobeapilot #becomingapilot #aviationindia #travellife #aviationgeek #twinengine #airlinepilot #views #aviationlovers #aviationgeek #aviationdaily #aviation4u #travelphotography #pilotlife #sunrise #travelgram #boeing

Airbus has officially reached a milestone in bridging the gap in global standards in the aviation industry. Here's what you probably don't know: When Airbus started in 1970, it had no say in the International Aviation Standards. But just a few decades later, they revolutionized the aircraft design standards. How did this happen? Innovation. Here's the story: Airbus's story begins in 1970 with the release of their first aircraft, the A300. I was reaching just 250 flights a day. While there, Airbus wasn't even trying to alter the global standards. For a while, Airbus tried to find success doing random things: Designing passenger-friendly cabins Investing in fuel-efficient technology Exploring the potential of long-haul flights Until one day, everything changed. The launch of the A380. It was 2005, and Airbus became the first to introduce the largest passenger aircraft in the world. They saw this as an opportunity—and took it. Their gameplan: Revolutionize aircraft design Prioritize passenger comfort Promote sustainable aviation As you can probably guess, it worked. By 2010, Airbus had risen to a wild level of success—way beyond what they probably ever thought possible for themselves. Setting new global standards Reaching over 15,000 flights per day Achieving market dominance And the rest is history. I love this story because it perfectly encapsulates what it takes to achieve global influence, but it also shows how to be "lucky," you need to put yourself in a position to receive luck. It's an excellent reminder for anyone with big dreams. Wouldn't you agree? #Aviation #Innovation #Airbus #GlobalStandards

Imagine a future where air travel is drastically more efficient, sustainable, and advanced. This isn't just a lofty dream; it's a tangible goal within our reach. Have you ever pondered how monumental advancements in aviation could reshape our world? #Airbus, a name synonymous with excellence in aviation, stands at a pivotal juncture. With the A320, they've set high standards in narrow-body jets. Yet, in a world where technology leaps forward daily, resting on past laurels isn't an option. The costs of developing a successor to the A320 are formidable, estimated near $25 billion. This project isn't just about a new aircraft; it's about pioneering a future where aviation aligns with environmental sustainability and efficiency. Let's delve into the heart of this matter. Airbus proposes a new generation of #aircraft, aiming for a 25-30% efficiency leap. This goal is ambitious, yes, but achievable with #innovation in wing design, propulsion systems, and materials—areas where we've seen remarkable progress. Consider the potential of zero-emission aircraft like Airbus’s #ZEROe #hydrogen plane. The success of such initiatives could revolutionize air travel, making it more sustainable. However, the question arises: Should Airbus undertake this monumental task alone? The stakes are high, and the risks are real. Investment could double, and sales forecasts could falter. But here’s the crux: Airbus can feasibly embark on this journey without state aid. A calculated projection suggests a respectable 14% IRR, even with significant #investment and conservative sales estimates. Now, we stand at a crossroads. Should we, as a society, encourage Airbus to shoulder this burden alone, risking potential delays and financial strain? Or should we advocate for a collaborative approach, involving state support to mitigate risks, and accelerate development? The path we choose today will define our tomorrow. I urge you, as stakeholders in our collective future, to consider the broader implications of the decision. Let's support Airbus, not just for their success but for the advancement of global aviation and the betterment of our world.

We are thrilled to announce that our first Airbus A321neo has successfully completed its maiden flight at Hamburg-Finkenwerder Airport! 🚀 This crucial flight was conducted by a skilled crew of Airbus Test Pilots and Test Engineers, whose main objective was to test warning and alert systems, as well as perform checks that are not possible on the ground. The aircraft was flown from its lowest flyable speed to its maximum allowable speed, ensuring all systems are functioning optimally. This is just the beginning of many test flights before we officially welcome this cutting-edge aircraft into our fleet in the coming weeks. The introduction of the A321neo marks a significant milestone in KLM's fleet renewal efforts, aligning with the sector plan of "Cleaner, Quieter, More Efficient." These new aircraft are considerably quieter than the current generation of planes and result in a 21% reduction in CO2 emissions per passenger-kilometer. Stay tuned for more updates on the A321neo 💙. #KLM #A321neo #Aviation #Innovation #FleetRenewal

https://lnkd.in/drDcgyVP Interesting article But the main point is missing. The key point of any model success is a proper marketing. Of course there are a lot of more reasonable than Dubai cities to create hubs and introduce A380's there. Paris as an example. But Air France-KLM management failed to do such in a right way. London also and much more.. I did predict once that A380 will be back in production and perhaps as A380neo Let's see- future is now.. #A380 #Airbus. Airbus #SimpleFlying

Airbus and LCI, a leading global aviation company, have announced a collaboration to jointly develop ecosystems for Advanced Air Mobility (AAM). The partnership is to focus on the development of three core areas: Strategy, commercialisation and financing. The companies will together develop AAM market perspectives and forecasts; conduct industry research; and harness data analytics to understand new applications and missions. They will also support the development and evaluation of new AAM solutions and commercial structures in areas like fleet, battery and network charging. As part of the collaboration, LCI will become a key financial partner for Airbus’ AAM projects around particular mission types, such as emergency medical services and will leverage its network to aid global take up and acceptance. It will also explore innovative leasing and finance solutions for potential customers for CityAirbus NextGen. https://lnkd.in/ezW2mySW #evtolinsights #airbus #lci #partnership #electricaviation #evtol #airtaxi #advancedairmobility #airtaxi
