As I am working on #MechanizedWarfare and #TurtleTanks, I am having interesting conversations around the world. I came across this article, which is very informative and proves that #mines are still likely the primary #TankKiller. Not very fashionable, very old and still very lethal. Indeed, the sophistication of the arsenal does not translate into lethality, and, ultimately, when it comes to mechanized warfare, scale matters more than one-shot killer. I will share more on this topic, but this is a very interesting article. Notably, it is an excellent combination of visual and technical analysis. The pictures of the #T72 are very interesting indeed. In a world where everything is forgotten for the last second, having these kind of factual-based, data-driven analysis is (unfortunately) refreshing and quite important. #Space is one of the environment domains still to fully explore in several subjects, and not only in terms of #Science #Defense #Commerce and #Governance Although the #spaceindustry is growing exponentially, with high levels of government and private funding combining with advances in #technology to generate new opportunities in space, there's still both an empty and a grey zone to fill properly #spacelaw, #spaceethics, #spaceregulation and even #geopolitics have to be addressed, for a long-term sustainability and success in exploring outer space, its potential #resources, and #Earth #innerspace, for the benefit of all humankind.
