RYR needed to machine sets of cylinder heads quickly with precision, and more efficiently than manual machines by hand could achieve, which led Robert to purchasing his first CNC machine. Customizing configurations of a product through a digital experience like augmented reality makes sense in so many applications. 900lbs has created life-size model tracking AR product configurators for Automotive, Defense, Aerospace, etc. However, when more reach or engagement are the primary objectives, it can be more practical to create the same impactful customization on a much smaller scale. The tracking is still so clean! Design Capabilities far outweighs Manufacturing Capabilities in terms of superiority in strength As far as Manufacturing is concerned, the engineering Capabilities of HAL is better than that of Russian counterpart Hence the project "Checkmate" must give full transparency and freedom to the Indian Designers We know that Automotive companies like Bajaj Auto and Tata Motors got immense boost to their design Capabilities due to their close collaboration with experts like KTM/Triumph in case of Bajaj and Jaguar/ Deawoo in case of Tata Motors If we are funding SU75 project then we must be in the driving seat of the design I also strongly believe that we must enlarge the participation of Private Enterprises in to Defence R&D and manufacturing gradually, in order to enhance our productivity and quality A promise that is yet to be fulfilled In this project Russia is going to gain a lot from Indian Participation, particularly in stealth and electronics areas. Plus Indian Participation will improvise the design to cost for competitive advantage However, there is no point dragging our feet Either we commit or move ahead Being asleep will hand over advantage to our enemies. I’d rather go in a Toyota Land Cruiser in the next war we fight in the Pacific. Here is why: The Toyota Technical, a civilian patterned vehicle is without question the most important force multiplier in modern military history. Technicals have influenced how insurgencies, Special Forces & regular armies fight in the battle space. Technicals have been instrumental, shaping the borders of the globe. The light gun truck reigns king of the battlefield, technicals provide fighters with agility, speed, payload, fuel efficiency, utility, & reliability. A Lightfoot Print & Easy Logistics: The Toyota pickup/70 Series Land Cruiser should have no place on the modern battlefield. It’s seemingly the very opposite of a modern vehicle of war. It’s un-armoured, unarmed in its original format, inexpensive and didn’t originate from some billion-dollar development program. The Toyota truck/or Land Cruiser has struck an ideal balance between convenience, economic reality and the demands of local terrain. -technicals are far easier to maintain than our JLTVs and have need of less logistical support, especially fuel. The parts stream is easy to obtain and can be procured locally from any country on earth. Technicals are significantly smaller than the JLTV. They are also far easier to camouflage than large vehicles. Noise and Dust signature is also a concern as large vehicles create far more of both. The best defense is agility, not armour.
