I'm calling this an OTT alert, and here's why. First, not all OTT is created equal. It's like saying I went to the store, well, did you get a candy bar or did you get fruit? There's a big difference, right? Well, there are more resellers than ever. Anybody can sell OTT. You want to buy directly from a DSP. That is so important. There are big broadcast companies out there. They're resellers. They don't have their own DSP. So do you think they're marking it up? Of course they are. So I have some questions for you. First, what is the list that you're using to target that? So important, do you know the programming that you're buying, the channels that you're on? What is the CPM? Because a CPM can be made to look so many different ways. You need transparency. How are you retargeting or using OTT or using other methods? What is your play rate? Is it above 95%? It should be, I know, a lot of questions. Right. We've done the due diligence on OTT for many years. We're experts in this. You buy directly from a DSP when you work with big ad machine. We're not resellers. So if you have questions, I'd be more than happy to answer them. No obligation, no cost, no nothing. I just want to help because I want to see people get value and the most for their investment in their advertising. Period. So please like and share. This is a very important message. Like and share. Statista expects the OTT video market to see five years of consecutive user growth. Based on the survey, another 709 million people worldwide will start using #OTT video services in the next four years, pushing the total user count to 4.2 billion worldwide. More than one billion people worldwide started using OTT video services between 2018 and 2023, causing the user #penetration in the market to jump from 33.2% to 45.6%. Detecting black frames and silence used to be the province of some DVRs that enabled them to automatically skip commercials. Now, similar technology will make it possible to do the exact opposite, adding commercials whenever a user pauses a video source component (game console, set-top box, Blu-ray Disc player, streaming device) and it detects silence and frozen frames.
