My Take Hey there Truck Enthusiasts! I've been living and breathing trucks for most of my life. From trucking to working with heavy equipment, mechanical tasks, building, construction, and farming - you name it. When you climb into a truck in the early AM, it's crucial to feel right - positive, happy, and eager to hit the road. A good mood makes a world of difference. It keeps the day enjoyable and safe, steering clear of the frustrations that can make a day not just long, but dangerous. My brother, a wise man once told me something I'll never forget. Back when I was still in school and starting to handle our large farm equipment, he said, "If you're having a bad day, don't operate the equipment. Do something else." This advice isn't just for farming - it's universal. Downtime is a silent killer in any industry. Especially for us in the trucking business, whether you're an owner-operator or part of a large company, downtime is a no-go. It's a fast track to turning your balance sheets red. We've got to be on our game every single day. So, here's my mantra: Come out of the gate happy and ready for action! That’s the secret sauce to being successful in this world of trucking or anything else. Nothing beats that feeling. I always say, "Be prepared." My truck is not just a vehicle; it's a fortress on wheels. Spare parts, hand tools - I pack heavy because being caught unprepared on the road is not an option. How many times have we heard, "Oh, I have one of those back in the shop"? I'm always ready to roll. Leaving the yard with confidence in your truck, that's the ticket. There's nothing like the feeling of driving across those scales, a big grin on your face, headed to the next job. And when you look good and your truck looks good, it's not just about pride - it sets the tone for your reputation and brings in more business. Keep on Trucking'! Every single trucking company says that they “value” their drivers. But do they really? We talk to drivers everyday, and from the sound of it, they get treated like garbage almost everywhere they work. Sure, at first it’s fine and seems different, but after a little bit of time, it’s the same drill… all the “goals” that were set are unattainable, the bonuses aren’t real, the home time is a joke… we get it. That’s why at Woody Bogler Trucking Company, we want you to talk to our drivers. We want you to ask almost 1/2 of them why they’ve been here for over 10 years. We want you to ask the other half why they’re still here. The answer, most likely, is going to be because they know we put them first. Always. We’re fair, we’re honest, and we’re upfront. YOU MATTER! So if you or a driver you know is ready to work for a company that rewards you for your efforts, appreciates everything you do, and makes sure that you know it; check out our websites at woodybogler.com / drive-wbt.com or call or text Heather at 573-825-8961 or Corey at 573-502-3563. YOU WON’T REGRET IT! #trucking #truckdriver #bogler #woodybogler #bestdrivers #otr #enddump #dryvan #drivers #truckers #thankatrucker #100yearsstrong

Here are just a few reasons why truck stops are so important to truckers: ▪️ 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐚 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐱. Truckers often spend 10-12 hours a day driving, so it's important for them to have a place to rest and relax. ▪️ 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 such as food, showers and repairs. ▪️ 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲'𝐫𝐞 𝐚 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬. Trucking can be a lonely job, so it's important for truckers to have a place to meet other truckers and socialize. So next time you're driving down the highway and see a truck stop, remember that it's more than just a place to refuel.
