Today, BIC announced our Q1 earnings. While this quarter’s net sales growth were flat at constant currency* our continued expansion of innovative products across geographies—through solid omnichannel distribution—provides the confidence to confirm our full year 2024 outlook.   The team’s continued focus on operational excellence and disciplined execution of our Horizon strategic plan is paving the way to growth acceleration in Q2 and onwards.   One of our most recent innovations I’m especially proud of is the new BIC EZ Load Lighter, BIC’s first-ever reloadable lighter, and the first innovation in the utility category in over 15 years. The product is available online and will be launched in retail this month in the US and Canada, with expansion to follow.   We know consumers continue to face inflationary pressures in their everyday lives, and BIC’s value-for-money products and brand promise help us deliver savings and quality, both of which are front of mind for consumers.
