When it comes to acquiring great, original art, there is a common misconception that it must come with a hefty price tag. However, this couldn't be further from the truth. The work shown is by Emmanuel de La Villéon, dated c. 1920 and could be yours for just under £5000. Fine art doesn't have to cost a fortune. There are numerous ways to find and purchase high-quality, original pieces at great prices. One option is to explore local art galleries and art fairs. Additionally, online platforms and marketplaces have made it easier than ever to connect with art lovers, art dealers and galleries directly to discover unique pieces that suit any budget. By seeking out alternative avenues for purchasing fine art, individuals can enjoy the beauty and creativity of original and unique artwork without breaking the bank. https://lnkd.in/e37H4vnw

There’s so much knitted here about the journey of corporate funded public art and the complications that arise years later. With pop up art installations (like I’ve produced) or street art, the life span is even shorter. With all of it, preservation is at a premium. https://lnkd.in/gDcSbPQq

I would like to share with you this graphic design proposal for the exhibition "Between space and surface" of 2021. The exhibition organized by the Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia, curated by Riccardo Caldura, features the works of: Arthur Duff, Ludovico Bomben, Francesco Candeloro. The visual composition focuses on typography and introduces two other elements useful to the representation of the artistic concept: 1) Light is the main theme of this exhibition, through it works take shape in space and on surfaces. We have chosen to represent materially the ephemeral presence of light with the use of orange color. 2) Using a transparent medium, the poster takes on new identities when interacting with the surrounding space. It can be presented in different ways on different spaces and surfaces. made with my sweetie Laura Serraglio 💖 #graphicdesign #visualdesign #exhibition #exhibitiondesign #visualidentity #catalogue #finearts #venezia #venice

Commenting on the changes in the Contemporary Art Market over the past decade, the value of contemporary art has surged significantly. Amid the Covid-years, factors determining an artist's work value were overshadowed, blurring the lines between good and bad art. These factors include educational background, age, ethnicity, gallery representation, exhibition history, and productivity. The influx of new collectors favored easily understandable art, leading to a rise in short-term value for "commercial" or "decorative" art. The recent year has brought a much-needed correction, emphasizing a return to quality in the art market. This presents a strategic opportunity to acquire exceptional pieces with high long-term value at reduced prices. While emphasizing the importance of personal preference in art collection, considering long-term value alongside aesthetic appeal can guide collectors in making informed decisions on art acquisitions. At Lindqvist Contemporary, we assist our clients globally in navigating these shifts and identifying art pieces with enduring value.
