Watching recent events in Paris we saw a feast of sporting achievements as athletes from all corners of the world and backgrounds came together to provide some inspirational personal and team moments in their disciplines. We saw a celebration of different cultures; celebrations of both individual and group achievements; incredible moments of respect and recognising the everyday extraordinary; along with people pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. If that inspired you, then imagine what working in a culture that champions such values and celebrates collective achievements as a team would be like. Enter, Royal Papworth Hospital. 🏥 As the UK’s leading heart, lung and sleep hospital we are at the forefront of world-class innovation and scientific research, but don’t let that international reputation put you off. If you are enthusiastic and motivated about working somewhere with the power for good, then you are exactly who we’re looking for. If you bring the passion and compassion, we will provide you with the tools, training and support to help us deliver high-quality results. 📣Let’s build more corporate cultures where it’s OK to be 100% yourself.📣 Like for real REAL. Not just on paper. No more hindering our personalities because we need to play a certain role. No more adapting to outdated norms in order to always be ‘professional’. We’re human. Not machines. We need to play more! 🤪 Play just means being your true self. Whatever that means for each person. This doesn’t mean we won’t do our jobs. Or won’t be productive. Or have constant chaos (there’s a time & place for everything!) But for true team psychological safety we should all be allowed to shine our true selves through the work we do at ALL times. I just got back from an epic (first) family vacation. Several times I thought about doing something that was at the true core of who I was. Being silly/goofy/having fun. I almost stopped myself several times because it wasn’t deemed ‘adult’ enough. But I caught myself & kept remembering to ‘just play’. Reminds me of what it felt like in corporate at times. Let’s be ourselves. Encourage others to. Shine together. To encourage you all today here I am jumping on a tiny rocking horse in Switzerland, having the time of my life. 👊

Helping DTC Brands Drive Predictable, Profitable Growth 📧 | Over $115M in email marketing revenue | DM me ‘EMAIL’ to chat
No team member has ever left Kensington Media House voluntarily. I know ‘culture’ gets thrown around a lot but I take serious pride in ours. Our culture is centred around consistent individual performance and growth. Because every individual’s success guarantees the team’s too. For us, culture takes precedence over everything else as it directly affects: - Client growth. - Service delivery. - Personal happiness. But most importantly, it makes you feel: - Empowered. - Successful. - Fulfilled. Conor Sunderland and I live and breath these principles, and have done so since day 1. We genuinely believe in them, and that’s why it works. Zero authenticity = zero effectiveness. No amount of time and money devoted to self-improvement is too much.

Here are a few key points to consider the talent and potential often lie beneath the surface: 👉𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲: Some of the most talented people are humble and prefer to let their work speak for itself. Look beyond first impressions and take the time to understand what they can truly offer. 👉𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝘀: People have different ways of expressing their skills. While some are vocal and outgoing, others are quietly effective. Both styles bring unique strengths to a team. 👉𝗘𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀: A supportive environment can help individuals open up and share their hidden talents. Encouragement and recognition can go a long way in bringing out the best in people. 👉𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀: Create opportunities for everyone to contribute, regardless of how they present themselves. Inclusive practices can unearth hidden skills that benefit the entire team. 👉𝗟𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗯𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲: Active listening and careful observation can reveal a lot about a person’s capabilities. Sometimes, the quietest team members have the most insightful contributions. Let us strive to create a workplace where everyone’s talents are valued and recognized. By looking beyond appearances and encouraging all voices, we can build stronger, more innovative teams.

If you join a company where everyone is treated fairly and promotions are based on performance rather than personal connections, you'll likely feel more motivated and valued. This kind of environment helps you to concentrate on your goals and contribute effectively to the #team. In summary, while it's great to pray for a job #opportunity, also wishing for a healthy work environment is equally important. A #workplace free of office politics allows you to #grow professionally and enjoy your job more. It creates a #positive atmosphere where everyone has a chance to #succeed based on their skills and efforts.

46% of job seekers say company culture is important when deciding where they should work. A further 86% of candidates also say they actively avoid a company with a bad reputation. A company's culture refers to everything from its approach to work to how it treats its employees. For instance, you might find yourself drawn towards a Company with a strong wellness initiative designed to preserve team members' mental and physical well-being. Alternatively, you may be more focused on a collaborative company culture, where everyone has a chance to contribute to the growth of the business. When seeking out good company culture, it's worth looking for evidence you'll be appreciated in your role. Stories published by the organisation's website about rewards given to high-performing team members show a commitment to good recognition.
