As the drug development landscape evolves, we are seeing increased interest in areas such as Real-World Evidence, Patient-Focused Drug Development, and innovative clinical trial designs. FDA's upcoming workshop on Complex Innovative Design (CIDs) should be informative. CIDs can help us arrive at optimal study designs for the populations of interest.
