The philosopher Nietzsche once said: "Out of chaos comes a dancing star". Looking at this picture, some might think it's a mess, but that's actually how our creative process works. How do we organize an exhibition? It's about a collective of individuals exchanging ideas, drinking coffee, discussing details, drinking coffee again, imagining and drawing. At this point, someone gets a third cup of coffee, just to keep the energy up. 🙃 Sometimes we discuss a bit - because yes, we are passionate! - but it usually ends with beautiful inspiration and a lot of excitement. At PRIMA we love design and we are experts in creating atmosphere: the exhibition is our stage, our place to shine. To involve the audience, to enchant people, to give shape to something unique - just like you hoteliers do with your guests. This year's creative concept will be breathtaking. As always, we will take our enthusiasm all over Italy and try to share our spirit with you: follow our journey and let us inspire you. #PRIMAxYou #WeCraftVisions #TheHospitalityExperience

Making an Impact We arrived in Paris yesterday and did the #1 item our kids wanted to do first: go to the Eiffel Tower. Our guide told us that the tower was created as part of the 1889 World’s Fair in Paris, a symbolic year as it was the 100th anniversary of the Revolution. France wanted to create the largest structure in the world as part of the Fair, which became the Eiffel Tour. 150 people worked with Gustave Eiffel over 2 years to create. The Eiffel Tower was the world’s largest structure for 41 years. When you think of Paris, the Eiffel Tower is still probably the most iconic landmark most people think of. Think about the economic impact of this structure and it’s ability to attract people from all over the world to visit Paris and France, including us. What lasting impact are you making in this world? #paris #france #eiffeltower #impact

What do you do if you work at the Institut für Windenergiesysteme (LUH) and you want to travel to a scientific wind energy conference such as Torque 2024? Right, you travel by train. So we do 😎. We is Felix Prigge, Basem Rajjoub and A.Wasay Khan. Looking forward to arrive in Florence tomorrow morning. However, there is room for improvements at railway companies to make the decision to travel by train easier, as literally NOTHING worked out as originally planned: - Local train from home to the office in the morning cancelled, took the next one 30 min later. Doable. - Train from Hanover to Munich cancelled, without a message, looked like train did not exist, even in the app. Bad communication. Took the next train more than 1 hour later. Not doable without planning tons of time for changing the train - which we fortunately did. However, less time for a fine Bavarian dinner… Not so nice, but still somewhat ok. - Nightjet from Munich to Florence: Couchette replaced by a seat wagon. Curious how comfortable and relaxing the journey is going to be. Will potentially report on that tomorrow. However, that is unreasonable. I may prepare with some Bavarian beer for the night. The lesson learned is - again, as last year: Plan enough time for changing trains and take the time of an international business travel by train as an adventure and an invaluable team building event, which it basically is. Anyways, please, Deutsche Bahn and ÖBB-Personenverkehr AG, improve your services. I fear this is not the way we can convince people to change from cars and planes to trains.
Let the journey begin! See you in sunny Firenze at the #Torque 2024 conference in two days. #sustainabletravel

Mobility Grants Program / Testimony! Reminder; the deadline for host institutions to validate the applications for the 7th call for mobility grants before final evaluation by the steering committee is on the 15th of March. Maria Maya Ertl, Brand Manager for Schönbrunn Group, was able to spend a few days of professional exchange within multiple departments of the Château de Versailles. Thinking of changes within the cultural environment brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic and the economic crisis and how those affect palace visitors, Maria had this to say ➡ “In the cultural environment, where no ‚typical product’ but a service is being sold, the brand serves as a guide and creates emotions. Brand interaction should lead to a positive experience in which the customer expectations are not only met but also (ideally) exceeded.[…] Changes in people's lifestyles and the supply chain of businesses led to new phenomena and consumers began to examine products, services and brands from a new perspective. The brands on the one hand need to stay authentic and in alignment with their core values, but on the other hand they should be ‘fluid’ enough to be able to face this paradigm shift.” 🌎 Access further information on the website of the Network of European Royal Residences right here : https://lnkd.in/eTPwy3we #networking #career #development #grants #testimony #patrimoine #heritage

Struggling to book meetings? Getting ghosted? Want to sell without pushing, convincing, or begging? Read this profile.
I told a friend I'm going to Paris. He gave me a TED Talk on what to do. He said things like this: "You must see the Musée de l'Orangerie." "You can't miss the Napoleon III Apartments at the Louvre." Providing recommendations can make people feel knowledgeable and helpful. They take pride in their familiarity with Paris and enjoy being seen as an expert or guide. The fly in the ointment? People won't trust your recommendation unless they feel understood first. I don't like museums. What I really wanted were suggestions that aligned with my interests. Things like: Strolling through the charming streets of Montmartre. Enjoying a picnic at the Jardin des Tuileries. Exploring the vibrant food markets. So, if you want to help someone with their "Paris plans," start by asking instead of telling. Like this: "What's motivating you to go to Paris?" "What else?" "What do you love to do?" "Do you like museums?" "No? How about shows?" "Are you into guided tours?" "Are you offended by nudity?" "Scale of 1-10 - how adventurous are you?" When people feel understood, they're more likely to trust what you recommend.

Renaissance was like a fresh sunny morning after a long dark night. It was the rebirth (literally) of European culture, arts, politics and economy. Views on beauty and life's pleasures transformed, no longer seen as merely sinful. This period laid the foundation for what would be known as "art de vivre." #luxury #luxurybusiness #luxurystrategy
