Last week my colleagues Kirstie Post Johan Rodenhuis and I attended the annual Mobile World Congress 2024 🌍, as part of the Dutch delegation 🇳🇱 existing of government and over 100 private companies. #MWC24 is powered by the GSMA and is the worlds largest congress focusing on the connectivity ecosystem. The amazing #NLPaviljoen NL MWC Barcelona formed the heart 🧡 of our #NLcommunity network and assembly point for tech-tours, discovering start/scale-ups #4YFN and the first ever #sustainabilitytour ♻️ in collaboration with Circular & Fair ICT Pact (CFIT) and led by Tieneke Breemhaar It’s been a great event! Although the sheer scale of #MWC is mind blowing and impressions were sometimes overwhelming, it’s been an amazing experience! This video summary prompted me to reflect on why I started reskilling in digital technologies to create even more relevant solutions for our problems today🌎. 💾🖥️Throughout our careers as millennials, we are seeing exponential change in access to information, technology, tools, mindset 🧠 and consequently ways of working. According to digitalswitzerland, 50% of people will need reskilling by 2025. ⛷️We must keep an open mind, strive to remain relevant and keep up with the high speed changes around us. ⏲️Acclimatise to being uncomfortable - hardly anything remains constant for extended periods of time.
