As you know, I love using charts to tell stories about Hiive’s growth. Today we are introducing a chart that not only tells a powerful story of what Hiive has grown to become, but also about its potential to forever transform the way we see the private market.
It's with tremendous pride that I can finally announce the launch of the Hiive50, an equal-weight index of the fifty most liquid stocks on Hiive, and the first direct price index for large cap private securities.
The Hiive50 is a representation of what we are as a company. It is the heartbeat of the Hiive marketplace, a tool for market participants, a subject of curiosity and punditry, an embodiment of the market itself.
For companies, the Hiive50 is an elite group of innovators at the apex of the startup ecosystem. Membership in the index means that the company has a larger institutional following and apparently more reliable liquidity than over 99% of private venture-backed issuers. Took a little break after the public launch of Jusi on January 24th.

1. We've received 𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 and are already making fixes to the product.
2. We held a mini-strategic session with the team to define epics for the next sprint. By the way, I'll share a part of the results with you soon - these 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 will appear in Jusi by 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 of this year! We're moving fast because we know exactly what needs to be done.
3. I heard that February is a great time for 𝐩𝐫𝐞-𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬. Let's see because today the Jusi challenge to close the seed round starts. 🚀

After almost a decade of building SPENN from scratch, it's time for me to say farewell as the Chairman. It's been an incredible journey filled with experiences that I can't fully express on LinkedIn. We've made breakthroughs in the financial industry by partnering with banks and collaborators in Africa, proving that a Norwegian company can thrive with new technologies.
We've faced challenges and required patience, but that's what makes it hard for competitors to follow us. Our reverse merger at Nasdaq in Denmark was a significant milestone, and we even experienced the "Game Stop" squeeze of the Nordic share market. As Chairman, it was an experience that tested my skills and measured me up.
Today, the operational subsidiaries of SPENN Technologies were sold to a new Swedish holding company with acknowledged investors. Both our CEO Jens Glasø and I, as Chairman, will be transferred to the acquiring holding company along with our Director of the Board Bjørn Kjos. We will continue our journey in the new holding company and look forward to the exciting opportunities ahead.
