Scissors are an instrument that every tailor uses in his work because with these he cuts and adjusts the desired garment of the client in a way that satisfies his needs. I like to compare a Hotel Butler to a tailor because in his interaction with the client in a hotel, he takes out his GOLDEN SCISSORS to: 1-Shorten the distances between the hotel product and service with the guests, making them more accessible. 2-Shorten the gap between the reward expected by the client and the reward received through the product and service. 3-Cut and discard all excess of resolutive management so that the guests reach their states of hedonic happiness faster. 4-Shorten the time of experiential perception of the product and service that the hotel offers. 5-Shorten the path of the hotel company to its positioning in the minds of the guests. Sustainable Breakfast delivering lower food waste - great suggestions from Scot - breakfast buffets are a very large area of food waste - hotels can be slow to react to reduced customer flows and overfill bowls towards the end of a service.
