Thank you to everyone who has generously donated to these communities, including: • Food Donations: Roman's Deli, Bird Cafe, Black Bears, Mellow Mushroom and World Central Kitchen • Water Donations: City of Asheville, Bird Cafe, and Danielle Christenbury and Rebecca Williamson from our Midland Commons community in Charlotte • General Help: Graham, a good Samaritan, who drove down from Charlotte to offer assistance. • Maintenance: Buckner Plumbing provided essential maintenance services. We're also grateful to Ruscilli Construction for their ongoing support and efforts to assess damage and ensure the safety of our properties and for donating two pallets of water. Yesterday we had the pleasure of hosting Ruscilli Construction for a day of company team building in Ostrander! This large group of volunteers was able to split up into smaller groups and accomplish many miscellaneous tasks around Evonne's future home. Take a fresh look at this historic site! This drone footage, courtesy of our friends at the Ohio Department of Transportation, is from the site of the first junior high school built in the United States.       The former Indianola Middle School in Columbus, which was built in 1909, is in the process of being transformed for the 21st century. The Metro Schools are in the process of turning the site into a state-of-the-art STEM school. Thanks to the collaboration between Metro Schools, The Ohio State University, and Battelle, the site is being reimagined to inspire future innovators.     The site sat vacant since 2010 before OSU purchased the site in 2018 and progress continues to upgrade this facility for a new generation.     Thank you to the members of our team who have worked so diligently on this project, including Project Manager Dorothy Leachman and recently retired Project Manager Nathan Jones.
