series.GreenHouse is the second project recently complimented by Kingspan in the architectural Microhome competition. Series.GreenHouse embodies three core principles: shelter, subsistence, and scale, within an efficient 25-square-meter design. It prioritizes shelter by offering essential amenities in a compact, affordable manner, ensuring minimal waste and long-term cost-effectiveness. Our Rainwater Harvesting SLIMLINE TANK is part of the building design. Beyond mere housing, the design incorporates subsistence by functioning as a greenhouse, enabling residents to grow their own food and support community nourishment. The principle of scale is addressed through a modular system that allows for adaptable living configurations, such as GreenHouse.0, GreenHouse.1, and GreenHouse.2, to meet diverse needs. Additionally, the project maximizes the use of small spaces and provides fresh produce to local communities, enhancing both sustainability and local food security.
