Does a 'Not Guilty' verdict always mean there's been a failure by the Police or the Prosecution team? Does the person who initially reported the case feel let down? Is it possible to see a positive outcome? I will discuss this within my next free webinar, Beyond Conviction, on Wednesday 7th February 2024 at 7.30pm. Please follow the link below and in the comments to sign up for the event. I will be sharing my experiences of the impact that both 'Guilty' and 'Not Guilty' verdicts had on those who have reported to the Police; some of the responses may well surprise you. Is it possible for a positive outcome to make a person feel negatively? Likewise, can a person look positively on a 'Not guilty' verdict? What happens next? The investigation is complete, the evidence has been heard, the verdict given and the case finalised. How do I complete my time with a person I have supported throughout the entire process? How can all of this shape how a person moves forward? Can they take back control of their life? The journey doesn't stop because the trial has finished, so I will be discussing the different responses I received and how people I had supported have then started their onward journey of recovery. That's an interesting perspective Liz. Questions rarely asked but ones that have a massive impact to families involved.
