No idea what a "Flying Start degree" is? Basically, if you're looking for opportunities once you finish school or college, PwC's hybrid degree programmes enable you to study at university while completing integrated paid placements. Not only will you get to earn a salary and enjoy the student lifestyle, impress us enough and you’ll also secure a graduate job with us after you graduate. Loads of colleagues have found this a great way into accounting/auditing and if I'd known in advance this was the career for me I would have taken 2 years off my total study time by doing this degree directly! Therefore I'm delighted to share PwC UK's 2025 Flying Start degree programmes are now open for applications. Find out more about the business areas you can join us in and how to apply by clicking here: https://lnkd.in/eqdC6YtM #Careers #Degree #PwC #Student #Study

Skill>>>Degree? The debate continues!💭 But, what if we told you that practical experience gained as skills are often more important than a degree?🤔 Take the story of an individual who begins as an intern and progresses to become a partner with a considerable remuneration. It demonstrates the significance of skills, commitment, and effort over simply possessing a degree. While obtaining a university education can offer valuable knowledge and qualifications, it is not the solitary route to triumph.📚 At the end of the day, it's all about the expertise you bring to the table.👨💼👩💼 What do you think? James Uffindell , the CEO of Bright Network shared his inspiring journey, highlighting how his experiences led to creating a valuable student tool. Ajay Kabra ‘s story of adapting as an international student and succeeding at PwC resonated deeply, reflecting on my own challenges and growth. I honed my skills with Deloitte ‘s leadership tips, including the Eisenhower Matrix for time management. ICAEW 's workshop on transferable skills was invaluable for exploring non-traditional career paths. PwC UK's session on personal branding helped refine my professional image. Day 2⭐️ Day 2 delved into Finance, Professional Services, and Consulting. Kate Reynolds from PwC UK covered consulting basics, followed by insights into tech consulting at IBM. Chris Hare's session on the global and UK economic outlook was a highlight, offering a clear and detailed overview. Engaging with EY , Deloitte, HSBC,PwC UK , and KPMG UK provided great insights into breaking into Finance or Consulting. Grateful to Bright Network and their sponsors for this opportunity. Looking forward to the upcoming sessions! Recap of IEUK Day 3 & 4✨ ⭐️Day 3 The day began with Sara Jones from BT Group, who shared her journey from Senior Engineer to Non-Executive Director.
