Shower the happy couple (or party guest!) in love...naturally! Ditch the traditional confetti and create beautiful, sustainable confetti cones using fallen leaves, recycled card, and a touch of love. Here's how: What you'll need: Fallen leaves in various colours and sizes (choose firm, dry leaves) Recycled card (cereal boxes, greeting cards etc.) Heart-shaped hole punch Scissors Glue stick Ribbon (optional) Let's get crafting! Leaf it to nature: Collect fallen leaves in warm colours like reds, oranges, and yellows. Aim for flat, firm leaves that won't crumble easily. Card magic: Cut out large circles from your recycled card. Cereal boxes work great! Spread the love: Use your heart-shaped hole punch to create a cluster of hearts on each card circle. Experiment with different sizes and placements. Cone construction: Apply glue to one straight edge of the card circle and carefully roll it into a cone shape, securing the seam with the glue. Leaf it open: Pinch the open end of the cone to create a small spout for the confetti to flow out. Top it off (optional): Tie a colourful ribbon around the base of the cone for an extra touch of elegance. Fill with love: Now comes the fun part! Fill your cones with a mixture of punched-out hearts and tiny leaf confetti (you can shred leftover leaves by hand). The Wood Furniture Scorecard began in 2018. That's 6 year's worth of working with retail companies to adopt and implement responsible wood sourcing policies, to set goals and report on them. The scorecard is a tool for designers, consumers, buyers to learn which companies source wood responsibly. Most, if not all certified and urban wood is traceable to the exact city or country where the tree was harvested. The companies using Urban Wood are exceptional businesses.
