Psychologist Under Training

What are certain #Myths involved in the Counseling Relationship? ✖️ 👀 🐥 Therapists have all the answers: #Therapists are trained to guide clients through their challenges, but they don't have all the answers. #Therapy is a collaborative process where both the therapist and the client work together to explore and address issues. 🐥 Therapists judge their clients: Therapists are trained to be #nonjudgmental and #empathetic. Their role is to create a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings without fear of being judged. 🐥 Therapy is only for people with severe mental illness: Therapy can #benefit anyone who is struggling with personal issues, stress, relationship problems, or life transitions. It's not just for those diagnosed with mental illnesses. 🐥Therapy is only about talking: While traditional talk therapy is common, there are many different #therapeutic approaches that may involve activities such as art therapy, play therapy, or cognitive-behavioral techniques. 🐥Therapy is a quick fix: Therapy is a process that takes time and effort. It's not a quick fix, but rather a journey of #selfdiscovery and #personalgrowth. These myths can create barriers to seeking help and understanding the counseling process. It's important to debunk them to encourage people to seek the support they need. #psychology #healthymind #mythsnottofollow #awareness #psychologicalwellbeing #therapy #counselling
