Earlier this month, RW Armstrong supported St. Michael's Hospital with its annual Christmas Tree Collection. Malcolm, Group Lorry Driver (pictured), and Jeff, Yard and Stores Person, volunteered their time to assist with collecting Christmas trees across Basingstoke. Their efforts played a significant role in the collection of 518 trees, which raised over £10,000 for the charity. This contribution will help St Michael's Hospice continue providing essential care to those in need. The initiative was a remarkable team effort, with Drew Clements, Fleet and Facilities Coordinator, organising the transport. It is undoubtedly tough for everyone in the cause-related sector at the moment. So it's tempting to want to hug every trundl member and thank them personally for getting us to a milestone like this. We recently celebrated starting our 100th 'Community trundl' by walking for National Parks UK, who were also our first ever charity partner. Over time, we have added 62 badges to celebrate the different walking achievements that our loyal members have notched up along the way.
