On the back of a post... My take on struggling...... Struggling with personal challenges often leads us to take our frustrations out on those closest to us. Here’s why this happens: 1. **Emotional Overload**: When we’re stressed or overwhelmed, our emotional reserves can be drained. This makes it harder to control our reactions, leading to irritability and snapping at those around us. We might lash out in ways we wouldn’t under normal circumstances. 😠💥 It’s a sign that we’re grappling with more than we’d like to admit. 😤 2. **Limited Coping Skills**: Without effective coping mechanisms, we might unload our frustrations on the people we see most frequently. They bear the brunt of our stress, even though they might not be the cause of it. 😓🌀 They are simply the closest targets for our pent-up emotions. 3. **Perceived Safety**: We often feel that expressing our true feelings is safer with close friends or family. We believe they will understand and forgive us more easily, even if we don’t always manage our emotions well. 👫❤️ This sense of safety can lead us to act out more freely, sometimes at their expense. 4. **Heightened Tensions**: Personal struggles can exacerbate existing issues in our relationships. The stress we’re under can cause us to project our own worries or insecurities onto those we care about, making existing tensions worse. 🔄😔 We may inadvertently make the situation more difficult for everyone involved. 5. **Difficulty Expressing Feelings**: It’s not always easy to articulate complex emotions. Instead, we might express our discomfort through anger or frustration, even if that’s not our intention. 😢😤 This can be confusing and hurtful for those around us, who may struggle to understand what we’re truly feeling. Recognising these patterns can help us address them more effectively. By improving self-awareness, communication, and seeking support, we can better manage our reactions and maintain healthier relationships during tough times. 🌟💪
The person you took for granted today, may turn out to be the person you need tomorrow. Be careful how you treat people.

What's your 4th Quarter dream? Make a list of 10 dreams you would like to fulfill in your 4th Quarter. Here's one way to get started. By size of the dream. For example, you might dream to: S - Go on a Holy Land pilgrimage. M - Become the Prayer Champion for your family by praying each day by name for each member of your family. Cover them in prayer. Every day. L - Have grandchildren and live to see each of their weddings, and be surrounded by them in your final moments. XL - Repair a broken relationship with your brother before it becomes too late. JUMBO - Become the most generous version of yourself. You get the idea. Your dreams are your dreams for a reason. Dreams fuel your future. And remember: earller in life, your dreams often revolve around Acquiring, Accomplishing, and Accumulating. But in the 4th Quarter, they more likely will focus on Becoming, Preparing, Relationships, and Legacy. Spend some time quietly visioning and praying - envision a future that you (and God) desire for your 4th Quarter. Live boldly. Finish fearlessly. A man is not old until regrets take the place of dreams (J. Barrymore). Dream on! #NoRegrets #FourthQuarter #4thQuarter
