While it is great to focus on employee engagement, we must also never forget the employee experience, are we providing a positive experience for the workforce. For an employee to be engaged, that individual must feel that their work is making a difference which will lead to he/she feeling satisfied and wanting to be present. As leaders, we have the responsibility to know our directs as people, what are their hot buttons, are there any issues outside of work that may impact their performance, and most importantly.....do they know how much you care. We all know the truth of the statement that employees don't leave their jobs, they leave their managers. #employeeexperience #employeemotivation #workculture
