Serving another research article on quantification of established watershed development in Hilly based states on farmers employability. Hoping it will serve the purpose for crop selection and natural resources management in Hilly States and thoroughly policy making. Hilly states have higher crop production and productivity potential. Profit based and environmentally safe cropping patterns can boost the farmer’s economic aspect. #watershed #nrcs #agriculturereforms #policymanagement

#FieldScouting Regular field scouting is essential for effective farm management. By closely observing crop health, soil conditions, and pest/weed pressures in the field. so that will help us to make informed decisions to optimize inputs, minimize waste, and maximize sustainable yields. let's all priotize This hands-on monitoring for us to identify issues early and respond with targeted, precise actions - safeguarding the land and ensuring a bountiful harvest to #FeedTheCommunity.

Tom and Antoinette Archer from Goondiwindi know a thing or two about livestock. The Queensland cattle farmers have found that changing management practices and improving their soil health helped to make their land more flood and drought resistant. Thanks to these new practices, Tom and Antoinette were able to increase the carbon stored in their soil and earn Australian Carbon Credit Units (ACCUs), despite experiencing 2 of the driest years in a century. Watch the video to learn more 👉 https://bit.ly/4dPsQNm Read more about the requirements and risks you need to navigate to run a successful soil carbon project 👉 https://bit.ly/3Z18YSE #CarbonCredits #AustralianCarbonCreditUnits #ACCUScheme

We get many questions about perennial groundcover, generally along the "who, what, where, and why" format. Here is a poster from Cynthia Bartel and her group that can cover some of those bases. A lot is going on in this 1-pager: "Perennial Groundcover: Profitably Merging Scalable Soil & Water Conservation with High-Yield, Row Crop Production." https://lnkd.in/g5NF7jiW #AgInnovation

Helping ag and ag tech companies identify customer challenges and develop scalable regenerative and sustainable farming solutions | Scientist, Agronomist, Educator, Soil Health Enthusiast, and Consultant
🌱 Soil Management: A Complex Decision-Making Process If you work in #AgTech, #Sustainability, #ClimateSolutions, or #RegenerativeAgriculture, you’ve likely encountered the challenge of promoting soil health practices. But have you ever wondered why growers make the soil management decisions they do after harvest? In my latest blog (Part 2 of a 4 part series), I break down the reasoning behind conventional farmers' soil management choices and what factors influence their approach to preparing for the next crop season. Gaining this perspective will help you better understand the “why” behind these decisions and position regenerative solutions more effectively.
