The workforce is already a diverse pool of multigenerational talents, and in just six years Gen Alpha will be jumping in. Along with them bringing innovative ways of thinking, new work expectations, and technology understanding. As exciting as this sounds it will be key for businesses to begin preparing for the changes this will bring. Being born around the 2010s, Gen Alphas have always been around technology, experiencing remote jobs take off during the pandemic and how technological solutions continue to assist people in their jobs and their case in school. Without understanding the values that the new generations bring in companies will have a hard time recruiting and retaining young talent. Now that generations are exponentially more inversed in the world of sustainability, DEI, and technological innovations, they will be expecting their workplaces to meet these expectations. Change is always going to be needed, especially nowadays where something new occurs every day. With new generations coming into the workforce picture, companies will have to continue adapting their missions and cultures into ones that can mold to the needs of the workforce. As more generations continue to mix in the workforce pool how do you see workplace cultures changing due to the new generational influences? How do you think this will impact resource engagement retention? #WorkplaceCulture #ChangeManagement #GenerationalTechnology #TechnologySolutions
It's already time to start preparing the workplace for Gen Alpha

Studies show that by 2025, Gen-Z will make up 27% of the workforce. Yet, many describe them as spoiled, entitled, and challenging to work with. I've felt that way at times, too. But is that the whole story? Here's my perspective. When people think about the Gen-Z workforce, they picture: ✔️Preferences for remote work ✔️A strong emphasis on work-life balance ✔️A desire for various workplace perks Companies either accommodate these preferences or take a strict stance against them, both approaches can be costly.😑 While entitlement might seem beneficial when companies are eager to hire, here's the hard truth: As Gen-Z becomes a more significant part of the workforce, the pendulum will swing back. Timeless principles will come into play again. Ultimately, only one thing truly matters -> Are you delivering the impact you were hired to achieve? Throughout every generation, the core elements have remained consistent: ✅#Commitment: To your job and agreed outcomes ✅#Discipline: Consistently showing up and putting in the necessary hours ✅#Hardwork: Doing whatever it takes to get the job done These might sound old-fashioned, but they've endured for a reason—they're effective 🔥 I support flexible work, innovation, and challenging the status quo. Every generation brings a fresh perspective. My career was built on pushing boundaries. However, companies need to consider their specific context, industry, and goals when making changes to avoid damaging their culture. Gen-Z, if you aim to be a leader and enjoy the perks, you'll need to embrace these core values. There's no shortcut around the grind if you want to succeed 💪 What do you think? 🤔 P.S.- I work with some fantastic Gen-Z professionals who inspire me greatly. At their age, I was still figuring things out 😜 #genz #career #growth #mindset #college Attaching a picture with the Gen-Z from my family while doing some Gen-Z stuff such as indoors sky diving 😅
