It feels great to have completed the #marketing fundamentals course from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing 🎉 I think it's always good, especially when you're a #marketer, to refresh your knowledge. So even though the course content was familiar from the CIM Level 4 Marketing Executive Apprenticeship I did a few years ago, a reminder is always welcome. Working in the marketing industry means being adaptable and always learning new things (which is one of the things I love about being a marketer). So it's always good to take a step back and go back to the fundamentals and remind myself of the cornerstones of marketing. Especially as we're now planning the 2025 events 🤩

Great to see UCAS providing an meaningful experience of the workplace to this young person and how much the staff team learned from the activity too! The recent Project Next Generation research into how 13-17 year olds are making choices in relation to apprenticeships and early careers pathways includes a chapter digging into the importance of work experience, and action points for employers and providers to help meet this need for experience if you haven't had a chance to read it yet 👉 https://lnkd.in/eRseWWQb
Last week UCAS’ marketing team was delighted to be joined by Jacob, a Year 10 work experience student from a local secondary school 👦 Jacob doesn’t know what he wants to do with his future yet and hadn’t previously spent any time in an office environment. He was interested to find out more about understanding the market, defining unique selling points, and communicating across a range of channels - some of the topics covered in his Business GCSE course 💼 Speaking about his experience with the team, Jacob said “I really enjoyed my time at UCAS. I was able to learn about all the different aspects of marketing that I was unaware of beforehand, including attendance at events which allows the company to interact with the customers directly.” For Jacob, the benefits of work experience are clear: “It gives you a realistic image of what working life is like and it gives you an idea of opportunities you have to look forward to in the future” - we’re happy to have been able to support him with this 🌟 We know how crucial work experience is in breeding confidence, preparedness, and assuredness for young people, whichever path they’re on – whether that’s direct experience like Jacob, in-person with our marketing team, or indirect experience, such as careers events and talks. Our recent Project Next Generation research into how 13-17 year olds are making choices in relation to apprenticeships and early careers pathways includes a chapter digging into the importance of work experience, and action points for employers and providers to help meet this need for experience 👉 https://lnkd.in/eRseWWQb #WorkExperience #EarlyCareers #FutureTalent

Monthly FUNGI Media company update…coming out of September 👇👇👇 Wins 🏆 1. Big social series win for Midwest Express Clinic - we did the creative and production for brand sponsorship featuring Bulls player Coby White (check out the links in comments) 2. Launched a product for our client Knauf North America where we led the creative campaign with Tell Your Story . 3. We had our first apprentice Katherine DeBoor aka Kat join us - we call our apprenticeship program “spores” that we just launched this year 🚀 Learnings (some personal)🍄 1. Role clarity is everything for the team - without it, you have too many meetings trying to fix things. I’m totally focused on that right now. 2. Sometimes you gotta slow down to speed up - when we’re busy, we can focus on the task of the day instead of the mission for the month. I’m learning when to hit the breaks and check the tire pressure and oil at least weekly 🚘 3. I like being involved in the work, especially getting to be on camera from time to time, it’s a passion of mine. Gotta find ways to run the biz while scratching the itches 🎥 What’s next 🎃 We have our second annual Halloween Howl on October 23rd be there. It’s gonna be the first time I have all of the team in the same physical location. Show up!

That’s a Wrap: My Last Day of Learning with Baltic Apprenticeships! 🙌 Wow, I can’t believe how fast the time has gone! It feels like just yesterday I was sitting in my first session, totally overwhelmed by all the Digital Marketing terms and wondering what I’d gotten myself into. (Yes, there were tears that day 😅) Now, I’ve completed multiple courses and gained certifications, launched successful campaigns, and mastered skills in social media, email marketing, and analytics. Most importantly, I’ve been confident in tackling real-world marketing challenges head-on. (+ so much more!) This apprenticeship has truly been a game-changer. It has helped me grow both personally and professionally while setting me up for an exciting future in marketing. So, what’s your opinion: Apprenticeships or Uni? ⬇️

You Can’t be Seen Until You Learn to See. I was very lucky back in September I was given this book by the wonderful David Beesley and Anthony Monks when I started my degree apprenticeship with them at ITPR. Safe to say I’ve been reading it whenever I can. I am very fresh to this Digital Marketing world and this book really does open your eyes to this incredible and infactuating landscape💭✨ So far, I would highly recommend 🧡 #digitalmarketing #marketing #degreeapprentice #thisismarketing #B2Bmarketing

Brands like Aldi UK and Lidl GB have such a good marketing strategy, Lidl is known for its promotional and marketing campaigns and Aldi manage data-driven insights, strategic communication, and performance optimisation with a few funny social posts - we all remember the war of Cuthbert and Colin 👀 But having these great strategies are critical to the growth and success of the business. 📈 Aldi's approach to competitor analysis is unmatched and Lidl uses different online and offline channels, putting social media at the top of its priority. 🤳 But with industry trends, platforms and consumers to keep up with, sometimes it can be difficult without leaving resources spread too thin. That is where apprenticeships can elevate any marketing department. They can be used to introduce new talent or upskill existing members of staff. Our Multi Channel Marketing programme covers: ✨ Mastering Brand Management ✨Digital Driven Offline Marketing ✨Content Creations, SEO and Web Design with AI ✨Google Analytics Masterclass ✨Data-Driven Campaign Evaluations Want to discuss how you can strengthen your marketing department through apprenticeships, drop me a message or get in touch! 📧 Rebecca.lamb@balticapprenticeships.com 📞 01325 731066 #apprenticeships #marketing #strategy #levy
