Here’s your second Safety fact for #BabySafetyMonth : Ensure your baby’s sleep space is flat! Infant sleep spaces manufactured after November 12, 2022 cannot have more than a 10° head-to-toe incline. Inclining a sleep space puts babies at risk for positional asphyxiation and suffocation. Additionally, there have been many reported cases where babies have rolled unintentionally due to the side-to-side tilt of certain bassinets. Check the reviews as well as saferproducts.gov before you buy. If you already purchased one, use a leveling device to assess if the product is tilting or not.
