Tail codes are markings usually on the vertical stabilizer of U.S. military aircraft that help identify the aircraft's unit and/or base assignment. This is not the same as the serial number, bureau number, or aircraft registration which provide unique aircraft identification.

The aircraft that "spooks" US military in the Asia Pacific. PLAAF Y9LG is an aircraft unlike any other. It combines both ELINT/Jamming into one single platform by using a "Balance Beam" technology. Some Western analysts believe, the aircraft has similar capabilities to the latest USAF EC-37 Compass Call "Stand Off" jamming aircraft. Y9LG is a product of the world largest Radar/Sensor manufacturer the CETC (China Electronic Technology Corporation). China...multi-dimensional dominance in this part of the world.
