How Matched Audience Ads Work in B2B Advertising (Part 8) Today, I dive into matched audience ads (also known as custom audience ads). These are incredibly powerful for showing ads directly to your target market. You can run these types of ads on Meta, LinkedIn, Google Display, Bing, and Adroll. Matched Audience Ads Matched audience ads are the way to do Account Based Marketing (ABM) using display advertising. You upload a list of warm prospects and cold leads and show ads to them. Step 1 - Upload your list of prospects from your CRM tool and show ads to this audience. Step 2 - Export a list of leads that match your target market (location, industry, revenue, employee count, etc.) using your favorite lead prospecting tool (Apollo, Instantly, Seamless, ListKit, ZoomInfo, etc.) and then upload this list to the above platforms and then show ads to this target audience. You can expect match rates around 30-50%. Use a lead prospecting tool like Apollo to build a list of target accounts based on industry, employee count, job title, and geography. Then upload this email list to the ad networks (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, Bing, Adroll) and show ads to the people it matches against. We were able to find a solid contact on Fivrrr who has a Enterprise high volume account on Apollo and provides access to the data at a lower cost than you could personally get directly through Apollo. Message me within the SaasRise platform or on WhatsApp for an introduction. You could also use an expensive demand gen tool like 6Sense or DemandBase to upload lists of target accounts to the ad networks, but the above methodology is a lot less expensive. Another use case for matched audiences is advertising to your former customers that you may want to re-engage. You can simply use the same method above and upload the list of your past customers to all of the platforms. #ABM #Fivrrr #DigitalMarketing #LeadGeneration #Advertising #AccountBasedMarketing #MarketingTips #SaaS #SaasRise #MatchedAudienceAds #Apollo #Instantly #Seamless #ListKit #ZoomInfo In the next post of this ongoing series on digital ads for B2B SaaS companies, I will dive into the fourth category: Customer & Prospect Lookalike Ads (Meta) Interested in joining or learning more? When selling a product online, how can you enhance visibility and engagement with target accounts? 👀 Happy Tech Tuesday! 💡Last week we introduced Account Based Marketing (ABM) - an AI tool for combining sales and marketing efforts. But how do we take this one step further for hyper-personalisation to reach key stakeholders, and enhance sales efforts? 📍Effective ABM campaigns deploy a multichannel strategy to engage target accounts by leveraging: email, social media, targeted ads, direct mail, and customized events or webinars. ♟️The choice of channels is strategic, focusing on where the target accounts are most active and engaged. To augment these efforts, Account Based Advertising (ABA) plays a critical role, with tools tailored to enhance visibility and engagement with target accounts: 1. **Social Media Advertising Tools**: Platforms like LinkedIn offer targeted advertising capabilities, allowing for precision targeting based on company name, job title, industry, etc., which is ideal for B2B ABM efforts. LinkedIn Marketing Solutions stands out for its ability to target specific companies directly. 2. **Content Syndication Networks**: Networks such as TechTarget distribute your content across various sites and platforms, targeting specific companies or industries, thereby increasing visibility and engagement. 3. **Retargeting Platforms**: Tools like AdRoll enable ads to be served to users who have previously engaged with your site, keeping your brand in the forefront of your target accounts' minds by targeting specific companies or industries based on web activity. 4. **IP-Based and Cookie-Based Targeting Solutions**: Solutions like 6Sense use AI to target ads based on the IP addresses or cookies of users from specific companies, predicting in-market accounts for more targeted advertising. 5. **Direct Mail and Email Integration**: Platforms like Sendoso integrate direct mail and digital strategies, enabling personalized engagement at scale. 🤝 By combining these tools, your ABM program can create a seamless, multi-channel approach that addresses the unique contexts and preferences of each target account. Whether through highly targeted social media ads, strategically syndicated content, retargeting strategies to re-engage visitors, or personalized direct mail integrated with digital outreach, the goal remains the same: to foster meaningful engagement that propels target accounts through the sales funnel towards a profitable relationship. 💟 This strategic approach not only ensures your message is heard but also felt, making a tangible impact on your target accounts and setting the stage for lasting business relationships. #accountbasedmarketing #abm #accountbasedadvertising #salesstrategy #marketingstrategy #digitalsales #digitalmarketing #salestools #aiinbusiness #aiinsales #aiinnovation

Are you in B2B SaaS and have ~$20k/month for Paid Ads? Here is the strategy for high-intent lead generation with a combination of demand gen. Generate short-term results and build a long-term foundation. 1/ Paid Search Put 50-80% of the budget here and test the targeting. Focus on high-intent searches to capture people in research mode. Example Campaign structure: - Competitors (maximize "alternative" keywords) - High-intent terms - Broader solution terms Use Exact match and test phrase match. Start with manual bidding and switch to a tCPA bidding strategy with more data. Use Simple and straightforward landing pages with CTAs to Book a demo. 2/ Linkedin Ads Use around 20-50% of the budget here. It helps you boost the effect of Paid search by retargeting the traffic at the start. Start with a high-intent layer focused on conversion. Capturing the demand first often gets good results. And start building a foundation for the top-of-the-funnel campaigns. 👉 Use Retargeting with Social Proof and Product Ads to educate the prospects and build trust. Target website visitors and viewers/engagers from Cold Layer below. This should fill your high-intent audiences, too. 👉 Use some budget for cold layer audience. Define your audiences with Job titles, Outbound Account Lists, or Job functions & industry & skills. Find what is the most relevant for you to start with. Focus on pain points with different ad formats. It can be a simple single image with text, memes, or other angles that speak to the target audience. It helps you to build the audience and distribute the message efficiently. This strategy will set you a foundation to generate a reliable pipeline each month. And allow you to scale long-term strategies to ensure sustainable growth. Constantly optimize it and refine it based on your results. PS: I run similar playbooks for multiple B2B SaaS companies and usually get more demos in the first 2-3 months. --- If you’re a marketer in B2B SaaS, spending around $20k+/month, and need help with a Paid Ads strategy 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝗲 to chat how we can grow your demo requests: https://lnkd.in/edUWuUfN #b2bsaas #paidads #googleads #linkedinads #demandgen

🚀 Let's dive into the effectiveness of Meta ads for lead generation! As businesses navigate the ever-evolving digital landscape, understanding the potential of Meta (formerly Facebook) ads in generating leads is crucial. Here's a breakdown of how Meta ads can be helpful for lead generation: 1. **Audience Targeting Precision**: Meta's robust targeting capabilities allow businesses to reach highly specific audiences based on demographics, interests, behaviors, and more. This precise targeting ensures that your ads are seen by individuals who are most likely to be interested in your products or services, increasing the likelihood of lead generation. 2. **Diverse Ad Formats**: Meta offers a variety of ad formats, including carousel ads, lead ads, and video ads, allowing businesses to choose the format that best suits their goals and audience preferences. Lead ads, in particular, streamline the lead generation process by allowing users to submit their contact information directly within the ad, reducing friction and increasing conversion rates. 3. **Retargeting Opportunities**: Meta's retargeting capabilities enable businesses to re-engage with users who have previously interacted with their website, app, or content. By showing targeted ads to these warm leads, businesses can nurture them through the sales funnel and encourage them to take the next step, ultimately increasing lead generation and conversion rates. 4. **Advanced Analytics and Optimization**: Meta provides comprehensive analytics tools that allow businesses to track the performance of their ads in real-time. By monitoring key metrics such as click-through rates, conversion rates, and cost per lead, businesses can identify what's working well and optimize their ad campaigns accordingly to maximize lead generation. 5. **Integration with CRM Systems**: Meta ads can be seamlessly integrated with customer relationship management (CRM) systems, allowing businesses to automatically sync leads generated from ads directly into their CRM database. This integration streamlines lead management processes and enables businesses to follow up with leads promptly and effectively. 6. **A/B Testing Capabilities**: Meta ads platform allows businesses to conduct A/B tests to compare different ad creatives, messaging, and targeting strategies. By experimenting with different variables and analyzing the results, businesses can identify the most effective approaches for generating leads and optimize their campaigns accordingly. While Meta ads can be a powerful tool for lead generation, success ultimately depends on factors such as targeting accuracy, ad quality, and campaign optimization. Level up your B2B lead generation in 2024 with these advanced remarketing tactics. Google Ads & LinkedIn Ads are 2 of the go-to platforms for B2B lead generation, and while they work great in isolation, here's how they can help each other take your customer acquisition to the next level: 1. Using Google Ads to prompt LinkedIn Ad audiences 95% of B2B Google Ad clickers don’t convert on the first touch. I like to view the non-converters here the same way a B2C company would view a ‘Shopping Cart Abandoner’. We can assume (if your Google Ads are set up correctly) there is some level of intent for the product; we now need to ensure we get a high-frequency remarketing campaign in front of the users for the next 30 days. To take things a step further, you can create LI audiences using the ‘UTM_keyword’ string from the Google Ad URL and create highly targeted LinkedIn Ads that align with the exact product the prospect was searching for. Alternatively, you can use the Expandi Group Account Tracker to identify companies that hit your landing pages through Google Ads and export those into a LinkedIn Ads campaign + add an extra layer of targeting. 2. Using LinkedIn Ads to prompt Google Ad audiences On the flip side, if you have a small target audience market, which is common in B2B, it may be worth kicking off your GTM strategy with LinkedIn Ads directly to your website. You can create a first-party cookie audience in GA4 (don’t worry, no third-party cookies here), and add this audience to a Remarketing List Search Ad (RLSA). The beauty of this is that you can bid slightly broader at the keyword level, as you know the users search in Google match your ICP, meaning you can get more creative with targeting and landing page destinations. Love to know any ways you use these channels in tandem for lead gen! #googleads #linkedinads #b2bmarketing

Helping Businesses Get Qualified Leads & Turning Them Into Paying Customers💰🏃♂️ - £25m+ Ad spend managed - Lead Generation Expert
3 Useful Tips when Optimising PPC Campaigns for B2B SaaS! Simplify Your Message 📝- Cut through the noise with crystal-clear messaging. Remember, you're not trying to impress your peers with complicated language. Speak plainly, like you're explaining it to a 7-year-old. Your potential clients are busy people; they appreciate clarity, not complexity. You've got to think you’re the expert in this situation. If they knew all the complicated ins and outs of your operations they'd just do it themselves. Trim the Fat ✂️- Every word counts. Ditch the unnecessary chat and get straight to the point. Long-winded sentences only serve to lose your audience's interest. Instead of convoluted phrases, opt for statements that pack a punch. Your readers will thank you for it, and your message will resonate far more effectively. 'Less is more' Precision targeting 🎯 - Ditch the shotgun approach. Not everyone is a payday. Hone in on your ideal audience, they're your greatest asset. Utilise advanced targeting options such as demographic, behavioural, and interest-based targeting. This way you reach the right prospects at the right time, maximising your ROI. Your ideal audience's time is precious, so respect it. Deliver content that's concise, clear, and actionable. #ads #leadgen #b2bsaas #b2bmarketing
