Energy possibility, Energy transition impact on power grids

When it comes to split core current transformers, ensuring maximum flexibility and ease of installation is key. This approach facilitates quicker on-site installations. In our TQ50 models 50E and 50L, you have the ability to completely disassemble the CT for added convenience. Check out this video to see how effortlessly you can open and split the TQ50E current transformers. However, it is crucial to note that we should not mix different parts of various CTs. The functionality of each CT is rigorously tested with its specific core compartments. Interchanging these compartments results in a different CT, impacting its accuracy compared to the original one. To check for mix-ups, there is a quick test to determine if the compartments are in-correctly aligned - by testing the phase angle error for any significant deviations. Make sure you do not interchange or combine different parts and you do not have to worry about such a risk. Contact us and let’s have a technical exchange about current and voltage measurement.
