En SABIS® Costa Verde, estamos comprometidos a ofrecer a nuestros estudiantes una formación en valores que les permita convertirse en grandes líderes del mañana. Con el objetivo de fomentar la cooperación, la solidaridad y el servicio al prójimo, celebramos la Semana de Prevención del Cáncer Infantil. Como parte de esta celebración, nuestros estudiantes y el personal vistieron de amarillo, el color que simboliza esta causa. Además, los estudiantes tuvieron la oportunidad de compartir un momento especial con Genezareth, nuestra niña apadrinada, en la carrera “Relevo por la Vida” de Fanlyc. Esta actividad no solo buscaba concientizar sobre la importancia de la prevención del cáncer infantil, sino que también fortalecer el vínculo entre la comunidad escolar y la causa que Fanlyc promueve a través de eventos como este. __ At SABIS® Costa Verde, we are committed to providing our students with a values-based education that empowers them to become great leaders of tomorrow. Aiming to foster cooperation, solidarity, and service to others, we celebrated Childhood Cancer Prevention Week. As part of this celebration, our students and staff wore yellow, the color that symbolizes this cause. Additionally, the students had the opportunity to share a special moment with Genezareth, our sponsored child, during the “Relay for Life” race organized by Fanlyc. This activity aimed not only to raise awareness about the importance of childhood cancer prevention but also to strengthen the bond between the school community and the cause promoted by Fanlyc through events like this one.
