As an industry, healthcare has really lost a lot of trust in the market—and for good reason. We have struggled to engage our patients for a long time. Add to that the rising costs and lack of transparency, and it's no wonder trust has fallen. That doesn't mean we can't earn it back - it will just take time and effort. But I think both are great investments right now! We recently published a blog post sharing some of our thoughts on how we rebuild trust in the industry. Take a read when you have a minute—you may find a couple of ideas you can use to start rebuilding trust with your patients.

Every communicator uses it, but how helpful is it, really? 🤔 As a metric, SOV is helpful at telling you how big your slice of the conversational pizza pie is…. ….but it’s less helpful at telling you how to grow the size of your slice, or how to take a slice or two from those you’re sharing the pizza with. And who doesn’t like more pizza?!?!?!?🍕 Check out our thoughts on SOV below!

Great new blog from Zark! Just a reminder how important parking is in the life of your residents (or potential residents)... Parking ranks as the sixth biggest detractor of resident experience, according to a 2024 Widewail study analyzing 400,000 resident Google reviews.

What's more useful? Getting a count of how many times you were mentioned (relative to competitors/peers)? OR Getting an accurate and comprehensive assessment of how you (and competitors/peers) are being discussed - including the sentiment/tone of each mention, the quality of the coverage, the sharing & engagement of the coverage, and the impact of the coverage on your reputation? It's 2025... we can do better than counting mentions as a useful measure of success in PR & Communications.
