🌍 Preserving Indigenous Wisdom and Empowering Communities 🌍 Growing up in the tribal heartland of Chhattisgarh, I had the privilege of witnessing the beauty of innocence, purity, and traditional knowledge within the tribal communities. It's a perspective that has shaped my life in profound ways. Let me share a remarkable story from 1981 that embodies the resilience and wisdom of indigenous people. Representatives from more than 350 tribal communities gathered in Delhi for a program. Afterward, two individuals from my hometown, part of our delegation, missed their train back home. With no means of communication, they embarked on a journey that lasted one and a half months. How did they find their way back? They navigated using the positions of stars and celestial bodies, walking through the night and resting during the day. Their journey was a testament to the power of traditional knowledge. But this knowledge, passed down through generations, is at risk of being lost in the rush towards mainstream education. Modern education often struggles to understand the context, language, and relevance of such wisdom. At Abhyudaya Global Village School, we've taken a different path. We are for context based education, recognizing that there are diverse knowledge systems, including those rooted in indigenous cultures, that deserve appreciation and preservation. Our journey is like that of those two individuals who found their way home guided by the stars. We are immensely grateful for the unwavering support of our students' parents and our dedicated supporters. We invite you to join us on this extraordinary journey of life and education. If you appreciate the value of indigenous wisdom, if you believe in preserving diverse knowledge systems, and if you're ready to make a difference, let's connect. Together, we can empower communities while safeguarding their cultural heritage. #EducationForAll #IndigenousWisdom #CommunityEmpowerment #AbhyudayaGlobalVillageSchool

This auspicious day marks the beginning of the Hindu New Year, celebrated not only within homes but also revered in the fields. It's a time when preparations for the forthcoming crop commence with reverence towards the instruments used, bulls, and the very land we cultivate. Though the tradition of formal contracts with field workers has waned over time, the essence of celebrating the New Year remains vibrant. Beyond a cultural, religious observance, it embodies a timeless human custom of expressing gratitude towards nature. As we elevate the significance of all elements involved in the agricultural process, we invoke blessings for a fruitful year ahead. This gesture of thankfulness extends to the intricate system of nature, capable of multiplying a single seed into abundance. During the upcoming Navratri festival, we'll further honor this divine energy in its various forms. Remember, 'Land' itself embodies this profound power, and the farmer, in essence, becomes its devout worshipper. #agriculture #farming #rurallife #culture Bhagyashree Gandhi Deshpande Sachin Mandavgane, Ph.D Ameya Ambulkar Kunal Kapoor Abhinav Shrivastava Nrupal Akolkar, P. Bhagyashree Gandhi Deshpande has beautifully captured the essence of the journey towards self-discovery. The realization of the unchanging reality beneath the ever-changing roles we play is truly profound. It's a reminder that amidst the various hats we wear, there is a constant essence of "Self" that remains unchanged. Thank you for sharing your insightful perspective! 🌟 #SelfDiscovery #UnchangingReality #PlayfulJourney Kat (Katrijn) van Oudheusden
Dear friends! Usually, when I share on this platform, it's to showcase the work our organization is doing or to engage in professional discussions. However, today is different. 🍁 Today, I'm here to share something deeply personal, something I experienced and felt on a profound level just yesterday. It's the kind of realization that felt like a gentle touch on the skin, a whisper of grace that filled me with elation. It happened while I was immersed in the serenity of a bhajan, and I couldn't contain my delight. In moments like these, I'm reminded of the power of sharing joy and insights with others. So, why keep good things to ourselves? I invite you to join me in this moment of reflection and revelation as I share something close to my heart. Warm regards, Bhagyashree. ☘ Sachin Mandavgane, Ph.D Ameya Ambulkar Vivek Deshpande Sachin Deshpande Rama Papi Reddy Annapureddy Saurabh Bothra Seshnath B Chandra Bhople Sujit Mittra Meghna Rakshit Aarti Deshmukh, MBA, CPA, CA Aditee Shrotre Medha Dixit Ramakrishnan R Priti Ramakrishnan Priyal Nagori Mahesh Kale Ashwinikumar Gawande Studio Subu Kaivalya Dandekar Dr. Suniti Vadalkar Osheen Jain Anthea Lobo Mahesh Deshpande Kat (Katrijn) van Oudheusden

🌟 Celebrating the Beauty of Co-Existence 🌟 Honored to have been part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations at Government College of Engineering, Amravati, where Bhagyashree Gandhi Deshpande and I had the privilege to inaugurate the lecture series as the first guest speakers. As engineers turned educators, it was a humbling experience to interact with the bright minds of tomorrow. Our journey from the corporate world to dedicating our lives to rural education has been a fulfilling one. For the past decade, we've poured our hearts into running a non-profit school, aiming to empower the next generation with knowledge and values. The theme of our lecture, "The Beauty of Co-Existence," resonates deeply with our ethos. In a universe where everything co-exists in a delicate balance, we are reminded of our interconnectedness with all beings and elements around us. From the tiniest insects to the vast galaxies, each entity plays a vital role in sustaining life on this planet. Through our work, we strive to instill in our students an appreciation for this interconnected web of life. We believe that by understanding and celebrating the beauty of co-existence, we can cultivate a sense of gratitude, empathy, and responsibility towards each other and the environment. Let us cherish the diversity of life and the intricate relationships that bind us together. For in this celebration of co-existence lies the essence of life itself. Our gratitude to Sachin Mandavgane, Ph.D Ashish Mahalle Manisha Khardenvis Jape for giving us this opportunity to share our thoughts with the students. Government College of Engineering, Amravati. Thrilled to share the first highlight from Anand Jatra 4.0, a transformative two-day event held at Abhyudaya Global Village School, centered around the poignant theme: "Beauty of Coexistence". Our Chief Guest, the humble and insightful Seshnath B, MD and CEO of Walvoil Fluid Power India Pvt Ltd Group, traveled from Bangalore to immerse himself in the school's vision and philosophy. Spending an entire day at the school, he commended the collective efforts of the school community. Not only is Shri. B.Seshnath a deep listener, but he also embodies remarkable compassion. Walvoil Group's support extends beyond words, contributing furniture to the school and recently facilitating the acquisition of a new school bus through its CSR initiatives. Our heartfelt gratitude goes to him, not just for dedicating his time to the school, but for being the wonderful and loving human being that he is. Shri. B.Seshnath truly grasps and exemplifies the essence of coexistence—the core theme of this year's Jatra.
