Came across situation where even after completed and cleared two techincal rounds, the reason for rejection was Job Location.
That too, during initial screening I clearly mentioned that I do not want to relocate and looking for the job in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Thane location.
After that as well, the HR scheduled interviews and later got rejected just because they are looking for someone who either can relocate or living nearby that location.

**Beware of Fake Job Offers!**
Yesterday, I received a call from an HR named "Riya" claiming to represent a well-known company, stating that my CV matched their requirements and inviting me for an interview. Since I was already in Pune, I agreed to attend.
Today, I went to the location provided for the interview. Upon arrival, I called the HR to confirm the exact address, only to be told that I was at the wrong location. I was sent another location, about 4.5 km away from the company's official address.
Upon reaching there, I decided to verify the hiring with the company itself. To my surprise, they confirmed that they were not hiring and the number I received the call from was not associated with them. The company even took photos of the messages and phone number for investigation.
Please be cautious of such scams! Always verify job offers directly with the company before proceeding. Stay safe and alert.

✨JOB SEEKERS BEWARE✨
I accompanied my friend to a crucial job interview in Bangalore, really hoping he'd secure the position after 12 years in Product Sales. He'd already passed two virtual rounds with the HR team, and meeting the CEO was the final step.
As I nervously waited in a nearby tea shop, my friend spent almost an hour with the CEO. However, when he returned, his face showed disappointment. The CEO had said, "YOUR PROFILE DOES NOT MATCH THE POSITION WE ARE HIRING FOR."
It's tough to see someone put in so much effort, especially with a young family. His wife sacrificed 70% of her salary to book the flight from Pune to Bangalore. Considering he has two little kids, aged 3 and 1, the situation is really challenging.
This brings up a big issue - sometimes, hiring managers don't take the time to fully understand a candidate's background before inviting them for an in-person interview. It's not only disheartening but also puts a financial strain on job seekers who are genuinely trying to find the right opportunity.
I've been through similar situations during my job search, and it's tough. I can completely understand the frustration and disappointment my friend is going through. It highlights the need for employers to be more considerate and thorough when inviting candidates for interviews.

💼 My Interview Experience with BVUR Innovations India Pvt. Ltd. , Pune 💼
I’d like to share an unfortunate experience I had with BVUR Innovations India Pvt. Ltd. , Pune during a recent hiring process.
The entire process involved four rounds of interviews:
1️⃣ Screening
2️⃣ Technical Round 1
3️⃣ Technical Round 2
4️⃣ In-Office Round
I successfully cleared the first three rounds. For the final in-office round, I traveled all the way from my hometown to Pune, hoping to conclude everything on a positive note.
During the in-office discussion with the HR and Head of IT Viren Kochhar , we discussed expectations, and they agreed to offer me X lpa. They also verbally assured me that I would receive the offer letter by Friday and asked me to join by Monday morning.
However, when Friday arrived, there was no offer letter. Upon following up with the HR team, they informed me the process was delayed due to restructuring. I was patient and followed up again after Monday—only to hear the same response.
After repeated attempts to get clarity from senior HR Neville Connel Gomes , I never received a proper update or even the courtesy of being told if the position was withdrawn. No clarity. No transparency. Just vague responses every time.
This whole experience left me feeling disappointed and disrespected. It’s extremely unprofessional, especially from someone in a leadership position, like the Head of IT, whose word I had trusted.
Key takeaway:
Clear communication and professionalism are essential in recruitment processes. Candidates invest time, effort, and resources in the process—organizations need to respect that.
I hope sharing my story helps spread awareness about the importance of treating candidates fairly and professionally.

#A#Cautionary Tale for #JobSeekers: The Importance of #CommitmentandResearch
We recently experienced a challenging situation that we feel compelled to share with our network, as it highlights critical points about job interviews, commitment, and the impact of individual decisions on broader processes.
We interviewed a candidate from Jammu for a position at our Mohali office.
Initially, he expressed his inability to attend a face-to-face interview in Mohali, citing the distance from his hometown.
Instead, he preferred Gurgaon, which we accommodated by conducting all interview rounds over the last three days.
The candidate performed well and was selected for a 4.95 LPA salary.
However, upon receiving the offer, he expressed a change of heart. His preference shifted back to Mohali, where his girlfriend resides, making him uncomfortable with relocating to Gurgaon.
This last-minute change has led to significant disruptions:
#ProcessImpact: Our interview process, which includes careful planning and resources, was disrupted.
#PolicyReevaluation: The company is now reconsidering interviewing outstation candidates due to the risk of similar issues.
#LostOpportunities: Genuine candidates may miss out on opportunities due to the fallout from such incidents.
We urge all job seekers to thoroughly research and commit to their preferred job locations before applying and attending interviews. Understanding your priorities and constraints beforehand can save time, resources, and ensure a smoother process for everyone involved.
Let's be mindful and considerate in our job search journeys. This not only benefits the individual but also maintains the integrity and efficiency of the hiring process for all.
#CommitmentMatters#JobSearchTips#HiringProcess#CareerAdvice#InterviewInsights
I wonder how hiring recruiters question a candidate’s abilities & skills when they lack in their own.
1. Job location: Mumbai. Where in Mumbai? That’s your job to find out . Because you’re jobless not them!
2. “We can’t trust you because you have career gaps! How should we believe you’ll stay? “
The next time you say this to the candidate please give us a written assurance that your company won’t shut down, shift bases or treat us like garbage! Our gaps don’t define our abilities or ambitions
3. “We have a 5 days work week but we expect you to work on weekends.”
And then you guys talk about trust issues which start right from you’ll. Don’t expect from people what you cannot provide.
4. “Salary can be discussed during the interview.”
Nobody is asking you if you’re paying a billion dollars to us but please share the approx budget. Calling candidates for interviews & then telling them we don’t have the budget is absolutely unprofessional.
Note: This will bring in a lot of criticism specifically from the HR consultants or corporate recruiters but the truth needs to be said.
I did recruitment for a short span of time in my career but didn’t stoop so low with anyone.
