Kings University x HBCU Spotlight 🔦 We've just wrapped up the 3rd Season of the NBA x HBCU Fellowship Program! This initiative, launched by the NBA in partnership with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), aims to provide career development opportunities for HBCU students and recent graduates in the sports industry. This summer, the Sacramento Kings had the privilege of hosting three exceptional young professionals who relocated from their college towns to gain invaluable experience in our Business Operations: 🏀 Ayreauna Williams (Texas Southern University graduate) Role: Corporate Partnerships Focus: Supporting initiatives, activations, and community engagement programs 🏀 Joshua Baynes (Howard University School of Law student) Role: Legal Operations Focus: Legal research, contract review, and related tasks 🏀 Symmone Brooks (Rising Junior, Hampton University) Role: Social Media Focus: "Gen-Z-ifying" our social platforms, achieving significant content engagement These talented individuals are departing with enhanced skills and experiences crucial for their professional growth. While we're sad to see them go, we're excited to watch them soar in their future endeavors! The NBA x HBCU Fellowship continues to bridge the gap between academic excellence and real-world sports industry experience. We're proud to play a part in nurturing the next generation of sports business leaders.

The Sacramento Kings and Golden 1 Center signed a marketing partnership for the 2024-25 season with Bell Wine Cellars, owned by the Berberian and Spanos Families, for their first sports partnership. During regular season home games and at Golden 1 Center concerts, Bell Wines will be promoting the Scoundrel Red Blend, a lovely blend of Cabernet sauvignon and Syrah fruit aromas. Grab a glass the next time you visit Golden 1 Center!
