It was NEVER about: ✅ The citizens in Hennepin County. ✅ Bridging gaps in our communities. ✅ Saftey and accountability. ✅ Transparency. ✅Famlies/Victims grieving losses. ✅ Open to new ideas and thoughts. ✅ Collaboration with law enforcement. ✅ Creating a safe and open workplace. It has and always will be about one person. The ability to always blame others and become a victim has been part of who she is. More clicks on social media, coverage in the news, and keynote speeches around the country is more important to her vision. Reform is defined as “to put or change into an improved form or condition.” Reform has to improve the status quo. Thus far, she divided the state and communities struggling the most while disparaging law enforcement. Exhibit 1 of someone out of touch:

Why me? are excited to launch our Restorative Justice Manifesto. Developed in consultation with Restorative Justice practitioners across England and Wales, the manifesto contains three key steps that need to be taken to ensure that people affected by crime can access the resources they need to heal and move on. https://lnkd.in/eRbZUdvU

Restorative Justice can be complicated to explain because it is so different to the way the world usually frames crime and conflict, and this can prevent referrals to restorative services. The way that we talk about Restorative Justice matters. If it's done effectively, we can address misconceptions and dismantle the barriers to access faced by so many.
