Got to love peak season. We are processing every order received by 2PM same day at 100% rate right now. In fact, we are ahead of schedule for every client. Our teams across the country are killing it. But, and that’s big BUT of course, the carriers are dropping the ball now. They can't send enough trailers per day to pick up what we processed. And whatever they do pick up, is sitting in their yards, not getting processed the same day. We are working closely with their dispatch and local hubs, and they're saying they don't have enough people or equipment to process what's coming through. Here’s what we offered to do to help them and our clients: 1. We’ve offered to live load their trailers so they don’t have to drop them and waste equipment.  2. We’ve offered them special hours (beyond our normal business hours) to accommodate them so we can get things moving. 3. We offered to deliver trailers of small parcel packages to their hubs at our cost.

Tis the season......for RETURNS!!! For many years, returns have been free to customers. But those times are changing. Good quick read how retailers like Macy’s, Abercrombie, J. Crew, H&M and other companies have all added shipping fees for mail-in returns. And it’s not just the big mall brands, either. Eighty-one precent of merchants are now charging a fee for at least some methods of returns, according to Happy Returns, a logistics company that specializes in returns.
