📣📣📣 We’re Finalists! 🎉🎉🎉
👏 We are excited to announce that our collaboration with Sylatech Limited is one of this year’s finalists at the Aerospace Technology & Innovation Awards at the #ATIConference 2024!
🚀 Our project showcases an innovative blend of #AdditiveManufacturing and #casting techniques, unlocking new possibilities in high-performance component design and production. This hybrid approach is exemplified by our braided in-line mixer—a component initially designed for metal AM but perfectly suited for high-volume production through Sylatech’s plaster-based ‘block’ investment casting process. The combination of 3D-printed waxes and resins with traditional casting opens the door to the mass production of complex geometries that are difficult to achieve with conventional methods.
💡 Our design philosophy pushes the boundaries of engineering by bringing computational design and geometric complexity into a well-established mass manufacturing process. With Sylatech’s expertise in casting, it is now possible to develop scalable solutions for applications across a wide range of industry sectors like bio-processing, heat exchangers, micromobility, and bespoke EV components.
