For example, we’ve swapped our gas tank for a larger one, cutting truck visits from twice a week to just once a month. We also prioritize certified wood, reduce paper usage and even chose a second-hand coffee machine over a brand new one. Small changes, big impact. Steel is a key part of our operations, and we’re proud to use it in a way that supports a circular economy. By increasing the amount of recycled steel in our products and making lighter belts, we’re boosting energy efficiency and sustainability. Creating a genuinely circular PET economy requires more than recycling and reducing use. It’s about creating the right environment for scalable, sustainable innovation, such as implementing effective EPRs, increasing recycling targets, and expanding infrastructure to include mechanical and chemical recycling. To make this shift, we need to: 1. Drive demand for post-consumer recycled content 2. Invest in and de-risk circular innovation 3. Incentivize domestic recycling infrastructure Now is the time to prioritize domestic recycling and reduce reliance on imports. In our injection moulding production, we reuse the sprued from the manufacturing process. This material is ground directly at the machine and then fed back into the production process.
