Starting a new job can be stressful! But Denver Dept of Finance's Uliana Bakhtiyarova doesn't believe on-boarding has to be! Uliana identified that too many people were involved in the roles and responsibilities of on-boarding process. To tackle these on-boarding woes, Uliana and the DoF admin team focused on the "pre-boarding" stage. Uliana created a New Hire Tracker to track the stages of their on-boarding progress, a New Hire Needs form to collect all necessary information the admin team needs to fulfill new hire request & needs, and a guide for hiring managers to provide a one stop shop for resources.
