Human factors are a significant contributing factor to many incidents. (Including some recent regulatory findings as the fully of the phrase appearing on Linkedin will tell you.) In its HSG48 publication, "Reducing Error and Influencing Behavior," the HSE defines human factors as "environmental, organizational, and job factors, as well as human and individual characteristics, that influence behavior at work in a way that can affect health and safety." At SRCN Solutions, we believe that one of the most effective ways to reduce human factor contributions to incidents is to ensure that the daily processes and activities used in the day-to-day management and execution of work are effective. The method for achieving this is to ensure that the processes are robust and to train the people in the principles supporting their use. Take a look at our article to find out more about human factor contributions to incidents and how we address this as part of our project delivery for our customers. Get in touch with a member of the time to discuss this further or to find out more about how we might be able to help your organisation: 👇 Catherine Healy Reynolds Colin Wilson #workmanagement #humanfactors #maintenancemanagement https://lnkd.in/gsHJ_znm
