Now that the dust has settled from the AWS Community Day Romania event and we've had a moment to rest, it's time to reflect and share some thoughts. First and foremost, hats off to the event organizers. They pulled off something truly remarkable—organizing an Amazon Web Services (AWS) event in Romania with over 300 attendees is no small feat. Anyone in this line of work knows how challenging that can be and everyone I spoke with during and after the event agreed on one thing: the organizers know what they're doing and their professionalism is evident. A big thank you to Marilena Velciov, Emilia Cristian, Lucian P., and all the wonderful volunteers for your patience and support. We felt incredibly welcomed and well looked after. This event couldn't have happened without you. A special thank you to Raul Geana for inviting me to be part of the speaker panel. Sharing the stage with such great minds as Robert Mălai, Rares Istoc, Valentin Muresan and Dan D. was the highlight of my event experience. I appreciate the opportunity to share my honest—and perhaps overly transparent—opinions on the topics we discussed, and I hope to have the chance to do so again. You're a great moderator! To all the visitors who stopped by our sponsor area—whether to pick up one of the many prizes, take a selfie with our now-famous space goat, or simply chat—we appreciate each and every one of you. It was fantastic to exchange ideas with such curious minds. We'll have more to share in a future post, so don't go too far. Lastly, I want to personally thank the safeINIT team members who joined us. Thank you for putting up with me over these past weeks of event preparations and for consuming an abnormal amount of caffeine during the event to function properly and greet everyone with a smile.
