Attending the BDMA (British Damage Management Association) Conference yesterday, we were struck by the honest and collaborative nature of everyone there, both on the panels and amongst the exhibitors. It is clear that whether you're an insurer, surveyor, loss adjuster or damage management specialist, everyone cares about doing the right thing. Three key takeaways were - ☎ Communications – whether via sharing systems, or just picking up the phone, we can all keep costs down and projects on track by talking more, and working as a team to get the best outcome for everyone involved. 🤝 Trust – We can all trust each other to be experts in our own fields, and take advantage of the many years of experience we all bring to the industry, whatever our roles in the process. 🌍 Sustainability – both from the perspective of the damage management industry, as well as wider environmental impact, we, as an industry can be more careful with the resources we use, minimise waste and think creatively about how we need to prepare for the future. INVESTOR NEWS: Risk Intelligence A/S announces today that the company has signed a license agreement with the high value cargo owner for the Risk Intelligence System (LandRisk Logistics). With the additional development agreement, Risk Intelligence, and the client, will work together to develop an oversight tool as an enhancement to the existing LandRisk Logistics module. This will enable the client to maintain an overview of the routes and truck parking areas selected by their contracted LSPs. It also provides LSPs access to LandRisk Logistics when planning and monitoring logistics routes for the client’s shipments.
