Today is the World day for Safety and Health. Whilst it is important to have a day to recognise the importance of Safety and how it affects Health, EVERY day should be a Safety and Health day. We need to develop a culture worldwide of ensuring that EVERY worker everywhere is not placed at undue risk. We need to stop supporting the somewhat macho attitude of "done it for 'x' years and done me no damage" and "it'll only take 10 minutes". This June the British Safety Industry Federation (BSIF) will take another step in our mission to transform the safety industry by launching a pilot scheme to bring Safety Professionals and those end user/specifiers of #ppe and #safetyequipment or #safetyservices into Membership, so that we can help them to create safer workplaces and develop the culture of Safety first and always. email enquiries@bsif.co.uk for further details #checkselectprotect
