Greg’s thought of the day!
It’s your thoughts that make your day, and your thoughts that can break it!
When you have a good day, remember the positive vibes have all come from within, and conversely, when you have a not so good day, those negative vibes also come from within, so how to pick the right vibes.
People, depending on their life experiences, can handle varying numbers of hurdles, and different heights for each, without breaking their stride, but until you’ve learnt to jump a hurdle, you will be stopped in your tacks every time. The more you are stopped, or for the longer the period, the more it will affect your demeanour.
If you have a good positive demeanour, this can take quite some amount of hurdles to rattle you.
So why do you get rattled, and let those days get you down, yet others don’t bother you? Simply put, you’ll get down from hurdles that you’ve not had to struggle with, either before, or before in the numbers they are.
It still though, is up to you to get up when you fall, and to find a way over or around the hurdle, so you can keep going. To not get up is failure, not the fall, not the taking twenty times to get over the hurdle, but to stop and not try again.
So you need to know that you can get over it, that you can continue, and that you can finish. It might just take some more time and a whole lot more effort.
If you see a fall as failure, then you see yourself as a failure, and self predict your demise, proving your thoughts.
If you don’t see it as a failure, and only a stumbling block( ie something that just slows you up), you always see a positive end, and just need to pick yourself up and try again, and keep going.
So, only you can make yourself feel like a failure, and only you can make yourself feel like a success.
Which are you going to be today then?
Your life
Your journey
Your successes
Your falls
Own them all
Keep going
Make the full course of life
Succeed
