🌟 KTP project video update 🌟 I’m delighted to share an update on our KTP (Knowledge Transfer Partnership) project with the brilliant team at the University of Glasgow. Over the past two years, we've been working on delivering NetZero for our estate. Our KTP associate, Dr Sonam Norbu, with guidance from Prof David Flynn and Dr Benoit Couraud, has led the creation of a dynamic sensor landscape across multiple buildings on our estate. This project generates real-time data that is starting to inform our team's decisions and enable us to test interventions in real-time. Together this approach is helping us reduce our carbon footprint and prepare for a local heat network. This project has been transformational in building our case for a heritage-led transition to NetZero, it has also helped foster a culture of innovation, evidence-based action and curiosity within The Crichton Trust team. The insights we've gained could significantly impact how we think about heating and cooling heritage sandstone buildings worldwide. If you want to know more - ask us! Open access to U.S. electricity markets is ending. The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has approved CAISO's proposal (Docket ER24-2671) to ration #interconnection entry by relying on scoring criteria and procurement preferences from load-serving entities. This compromise goes too far and opens the door to other RTOs/ISOs to choose criteria of their own liking to ration interconnection process entry. What an inspiring day at the 9th Logistics Real Estate Event by SPRYG Real Estate Academy.
