‼️Syllabus-Aligned, But Not Easy: The Challenge Lies in Execution.✍️ UPSC CSE Main 2024: Key Observations on Essay and General Studies Papers. 📚 General Studies Paper📚 ◀️The paper followed the syllabus and familiar themes. ⚠️Despite this, it was not easy and required comprehensive understanding. ⏳Freshers may have faced challenges in completing the paper due to its conventional, theme-based nature, slightly favoring experienced candidates. 📝 Essay Paper📝 ◀️The essay topics focused on contemporary debates with pinch of philosophical dimensions. 🔤Some translation discrepancies were noted, causing confusion. Example from Section-A Topic no.04 "The doubter is a true man of science" was inaccurately translated into Hindi language as "प्रश्न पूछने वाला ही विज्ञान का सच्चा सिपाही है," where 'man' was equated with 'सिपाही' (soldier).ℹ️However UPSC may have its set of explanations and logic. 🎯In short,The papers tested critical thinking and clarity of expression, with minor translation issues adding to the complexity. Veterans may have had a slight edge in navigating the nuances of the papers. #upsc #ias #history
