Writes about Family Office, Family Business & Wealth | Specialises in White Papers, Articles, E-books, Copywriting, Ghostwriting, Thought Leadership, Website & Social Content 👩🏻💻
Who would you trust to manage your family fortune? 👩👧👦 💰 Leaders of any organisation have a pivotal role to play in its success but when it comes to Family Offices, where extraordinary wealth is met with politics, passion projects and philanthropy, Leaders have a much larger responsibility. In this white paper created for Family Office Recruitment Partner, Agreus, I help Family Offices navigate their way to finding the ideal leader. Using primary and secondary quantitative data, I outline the most common titles adopted by Family Office heads and the compensation typically attached. I also explore career trajectories to the top spot and the competencies, qualities and skill-sets required to get there by interviewing the Principals who have hired them, the former leaders who have excelled in the role and those in the position today. Here is a sneak peak at two of those interviews with Family Office Heads Richard Dewes and Louise Creasey. Download the full report via Agreus: https://lnkd.in/dhNgjgd 🗞

Grateful for the Best Places to Work recognition for the FOURTH year in a row! Highlighting two of our defined Core Behaviors I feel strongly lead to employees thriving day after day and year after year through the minutes to moments to milestones. 1- BUILD UP - We value leadership that equips others and want all employees to ask themselves daily how they can help increase the capacity of others. 2- UP A NOTCH- How am I setting the bar and improving personally and professionally? We desire to do excellent, bar-setting work because our colleagues, participants in the mission, corporate partners, volunteers, nonprofit and community partners, benefactors and the community are worth it! Do good work and do it with excellence!
For the fourth year in a row, we're grateful to be recognized as one of Denver Business Journal's Best Places to Work! https://buff.ly/49qhz3U

The chief of staff role has been growing in importance and popularity as the pressure on private and public sector leaders intensifies. To develop an empirical picture of the role, we analyzed publicly available data on approximately 250 chiefs of staff who have served in the role within the past eight years. The group is almost evenly split between men and women, and its members have worked at roughly 300 organizations around the world. Our analysis suggests that COS career trajectories and responsibilities vary widely, but eight broad archetypes emerge. https://lnkd.in/ekAk-AJG

Did I just blink? First, I want to show appreciation to two of my mentors in the industry Michael Bellody and Brian S. Falconer, LUTCF. They have both been there for me every step of the way, and I am truly grateful for that. Second, I just want to share a few pieces of advice for young advisors that I have learned over the past couple of years: 1. Be coachable. Be open to constructive criticism. I'll be the first to admit, I was horrible on the phone when I started. One of the most important pieces of advice I received was to make each conversation a conversation. When you reach out to a client, ask them how their weeks going. Ask them if they have any exciting plans for the summer. Ask them when their child/children get out of school for summer. Don't jump straight into business. I get excited to call clients. These conversations will result in your client picking up your call on the second ring, rather than letting you go to voicemail. 2. Be a sponge. I joined a team, Imperia Wealth Management, for a reason. You would think Mike, Brian, and my other mentors would be sick of my numerous questions after 2 years, yet every day they're happy to help and coach me. The importance of surrounding yourself with experience is drastic. Experience does not only apply to Capital Markets. Client relationships, networking opportunities, and utilizing COI's are a few examples. There's always room to grow/learn regardless of how long you have been in the industry. 3. Be yourself. I promise that you won't know every answer to every question a client asks. The saying, "Fake it until you make it" ... throw it in the trash. Lean on your mentors when necessary, and clients will appreciate it. Take the extra hour before you respond to your client. I can't wait for the future of IWM. PJF
IWM is celebrating Peter's two year workiversary! From day one, Peter has been an invaluable asset to our team, bringing expertise, passion, and a relentless drive. Better tech + better service = better outcomes. We've all seen tech as a means to replace the human element (remind me to tell you about resolving my $850 Uber ride!) But done together and done right, the total can be much greater than the sum of the parts. Here's a favorite example. #taxtech #industrystandard
Today, we kick off our annual Service Week which highlights the value service plays in building a strong advisory firm–spanning across clients, partners, employees and the community. To shed light on the client side, we sat down with our Integration Specialist, Ivis Varela, to get his views on the importance of his Integration Team for our clients. https://lnkd.in/euC9Kd_f
