On June 19, 1865, news of freedom finally reached the last enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas—over two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed. This day, known as Juneteenth, marks the end of slavery in the United States and the beginning of a journey toward freedom and equality. We honor the resilience, culture, and contributions of Black Americans with science, music, dancing, delicious food, and community gatherings. It’s a joyous reminder of perseverance against adversity, and a hopeful look at the future we’re building together. #juneteenth #inclusion #dei #culture

  • Happy Juneteenth! May your celebrations be filled with joy, togetherness, and hope this Freedom Day.
