I just had an amazing #interview, but I am still not sure about the result 😅 . . Nowadays, what is happening is, it doesn't matter if you have an #awesome interview still, there are chances of rejection that too without any #feedback, as "feedback is confidential" 🤐 Just a few suggestions and observations of the current market for #SDETs-> 1. Sometimes we take casual to the #interviews where we don't wanna join, or just give them for the sake of practice, instead give your 100% at least, every time, doesn't matter if you wanna join the #company or not, eventually, it will boost your #confidence or get know to know about the different people asking different sets of questions. 2. Coding questions are the most #important part for us to be asked usually in the first half of the #interview, be prepared and show the logical approach first and then write #clean and #crisp code, even if you know the code, take some time to think and then write it, don't be in hurry, don't let your interviewer know your next steps. 3. Concepts #learning is important, apart from DSA, automation #framework architecture, your current #product knowledge, end-to-end delivery process, defects handling, communications across the team, tools you are using, complete tech stack used for the product, including front-end, backend, Database, for logs, for #monitoring, for #pushers and what not, have been continuously asked in the #interviews. 4. Always ask #questions in the last 4-5 minutes of the interviews, ask questions about the expectations from the candidate they are hiring, what exactly is the role, tech stack, this shows your interest in the organization. #SDETs guys you can add if there are any thoughts, also experts if you feel something is missing, feel free to add !!! Stay tuned for more !!! Sahil kapoor 🙂
