Attention HR Directors! I recently came across a job advertisement for an HRBP with NO experience, and it got me thinking. While I am not against hiring based solely on experience, HRBP is a role that requires experience. HRBPs are expected to work with the business to develop and execute people strategies that enhance the top or bottom line. Of course, we need to accommodate more people, but maybe we can do so in other roles that would prepare our future HR professionals to support the business. The value of HRBPs is on the rise, and they are needed to be up for the job more than ever. Let's not set our colleagues up for failure. What are your thoughts on this?
